More about Sandra: Due to a somewhat turbulent childhood I sought solace in Nature and it would be fair to say Nature definitely Nurtured. My experiences as a child brought out the Nurse in me as I discovered I could be alongside vulnerable people, so I became a Healthcare Professional working in a Hospital and Hospice setting, also for Social Services working with the Disability Team 16-65 year age group and as a Counsellor for the local Mental Health Team. This heightened my awareness and I began my spiritual quest in more depth. I attended a retreat on a reservation with a Canadian Indian called Willie Lone-Bear who introduced me to the Sweat Lodge Ceremony. My thirst for knowledge in the healing environment became stronger and I trained with Howard & Elsa Malpas to become a Shamanic Practitioner. In pursuit of more knowledge I enrolled on a Drumming Course with Steven and Renata Ash Founders of Sacred Drumming. I was invited by Steven to become a Tutor and 2 years later I became a Drumming Tutor for the College of Sound Healing.
