"Circle of Fire"
This is a craft based workshop during which we will be working with Spirit and many different media. Participants will connect with the spirits of the land, the Gathering and your own guiding spirits. This will prepare the participants to identify with this year's theme: '20 Years of Medicine. One Circle. One Fire' and will enable them to work on their sacred tool on the outcome of their journey. We will journey with our guides for wisdom and information to weave into our sacred tool, followed by honouring and decorating them ceremonially. We will be working with craft materials such as red deer antler tips, genuine forged iron horse shoes, copper and silver wire, driftwood, hag stones from the Jurassic coast, semi-precious stones, feathers, bones, wood and many more, also anything else brought by the participants. Rosemary will have samples of the various tools/symbols that you will be able to craft in this workshop Bio: Rosemary is a Dorset-based Shamanic practitioner who has trained extensively over many years with, among others, Simon Buxton and Naomi Lewis of the Sacred Trust, Kate Shela and Betsy Bergstrom. She has taught and held workshops in Canada, USA and the UK. Rosemary is also a Sacred Bee keeper and has a deep connection with animals and nature – she also trained as a practitioner in Animal Spirit Medicine under the guidance of Naomi Lewis and spent some time as a student with the San Bushmen in the Kalahari. She is a crafter of sacred ceremonial items, healing tools and ‘medicine’ jewellery. |

What to Bring to the Workshop: Pen and journals, personal symbols, feathers, beads, charms etc. – anything that you wish to use for decoration. However, all necessary materials will be provided.
