“Working with Magic of Mushrooms as Medicine”
This workshop is around the process and practicalities of working with liberty caps mushrooms as medicine. We take a look at our lived experience of taking the mushrooms and tease out any questions. We talk about how they work with memories, emotions, and mental protections to create a new alignment. The workshop will take you through a mini medicine circle working with the spiritual component of the mushroom. Bio: After 25 years in NHS mental health, Carol was drawn to the overlap between clinical work and non-ordinary states. She trained for a decade in shamanic practices. Now a counsellor, she holds medicine circles, works as a wound tracker, shamanic counsellor, and an integration therapist with Mind. |

What to Bring to the Workshop: Please bring an open mind, an offering for the medicine from home, a notebook and something to lay on.
More about Carol: Having worked as an NHS mental health nurse for 25 years, I could clearly see the overlap between different dimensions I trained for around 10 years with Warrior in the Heart, Sacred Trust and Second Sight Healing. I was interested in the different approaches to the information held by altered states and non ordinary realities. Guided closely by the work and healings of Odette Nightly, I negotiated my way across this tricky landscape This led me into training as a counsellor, and into the blessing of holding safe medicine circles. I currently work 1:1 as a wound tracker and shamanic counsellor, an integration therapist with Mind, and have a strong interest in research.
